Lesson 3 of 3 · 11 min
Grounding: getting back into your body
You can't hear your body if you're not really in it.
And a lot of us spend most of the day somewhere else, in our heads, in our phones, in tomorrow's worries, in yesterday's conversations.
Grounding is simply the practice of coming back. Back into your body. Back into the room. Back into this moment.
It's not complicated, and it doesn't need to be a big ritual. The best grounding practices are the ones you'll actually do.
Why grounding helps intuition
When you're ungrounded, rushed, anxious, scattered, everything feels urgent and loud. It's very hard to tell one signal from another.
When you're grounded, things slow down a little. There's more space between feeling something and reacting to it. And that space is where discernment happens.
Write, then go a little deeper
Write honestly about what's on your mind. You'll get a few personal reflection questions, shaped by the course, to help you notice what's underneath. They're prompts, not answers.
Take your time. Mark it complete when you've done the exercises.
