Lesson 3 of 3 · 11 min
Creating your intuitive profile
By now you should have a few clues about how your intuition likes to talk to you. Let's pull them together into something you can actually use.
I call this your intuitive profile. It's not a label. It's more like a set of notes about yourself that you'll keep updating as you go.
What goes into your profile
Your profile has a few simple parts.
- Your strongest channels: the ones that show up most often.
- Your quieter channels: the ones that show up sometimes.
- When your intuition feels clearest: time of day, mood, setting.
- When it's hardest to hear: tired, rushed, around certain people, scrolling.
- What usually gets in the way: fear, wanting reassurance, overthinking, people pleasing.
- What it feels like when you've ignored it, because that's often a signal too.
That last one is interesting. A lot of people find they know exactly what it feels like after they've overridden themselves. A sinking feeling. A bit of resentment. A "I knew it."
That's worth knowing, because it means the signal was there. You just didn't catch it in time.
Your profile is a working document
You'll come back to this throughout the course. As you move through the modules on fear, the body, quiet and self-trust, you'll probably want to add things or change things.
That's exactly what should happen. Self-knowledge isn't something you complete. It's something you keep in conversation with.
Write, then go a little deeper
Write honestly about what's on your mind. You'll get a few personal reflection questions, shaped by the course, to help you notice what's underneath. They're prompts, not answers.
Take your time. Mark it complete when you've done the exercises.
