Lesson 3 of 3 · 12 min
Learning from getting it wrong
You're going to get it wrong sometimes. I want you to be completely okay with that.
Not because mistakes don't matter, but because getting it wrong is how you learn what right feels like.
Mistakes aren't proof you're not intuitive
A lot of people have one bad experience, they followed a gut feeling and it went badly, and decide they're not intuitive at all.
That's like falling off a bike once and deciding you can't ride. You just need more practice, and a better idea of what went wrong.
The honest debrief
When you get something wrong, rather than beating yourself up, try a debrief. Kind, curious, and honest.
And when you get it right
Debrief those too! When you trust yourself and it goes well, take a moment to really notice. What did that feel like? How did it show up? What made it easier to listen?
We tend to rush past our wins. Don't. They're just as informative as the misses.
Write, then go a little deeper
Write honestly about what's on your mind. You'll get a few personal reflection questions, shaped by the course, to help you notice what's underneath. They're prompts, not answers.
Take your time. Mark it complete when you've done the exercises.
